In 1970 George Maciunas made a gift box to John Cage – Spell Your Name with These Objects. Seen above (3rd image) you can see a later version that was sent to Pontus Hulten.
In our piece we use classical paintings to spell your name. Delivered in the form of a collage.

Once a month we invite 12 people to a dinner. Every participant signs up with an ingredient and a subject they’d like to discuss during the dinner. Traditional subjects as family, work and home are banned for this evening. The 12 guests are randomly picked from all the entries.

POSTMAN’S CHOICE BY BEN VAUTIER

In 1965, French artist Ben Vautier devised the provocative piece of mail art called “Postman’s Choice.” It was a postcard with lines on both sides, made to be addressed to two different destinations and then stamped on both sides. With no return address included, the letter carrier gets to choose who gets the postcard. Reproduced with permission of the artist.

Playing with traditional Swedish road sign Olycka (Accident) by inverting the colours and removing the initial O, making it spell Lycka (Happiness). This sign should be used to mark happy places. Also available as sticker.
